· When will the new rewards program start?
o The new rewards program will be launching on January 5th. You will be able to cash in your existing account balance anytime between now and January 4th as usual, or if you choose not to cash in, your balance will be automatically converted into points. We will send out an additional notification prior to the launch to remind everyone about the upcoming changes
· What about the rewards program will be changing?
o With the launch of our new rewards program, we will be introducing a new point based system, where you will earn points for both survey and non-survey related activities. As you earn more points you will be able to cash them in for cash and merchandise, and for entries to our sweepstakes and great prizes.
· Will I see any changes to my account now?
o No, until the new rewards program launches on January 5th, no changes will be made to your existing account. You can continue to login to your account to participate in surveys, view your account history, request payments and participate in forum discussions as usual.
· How will my account be affected after the new program launches?
o Once the new rewards program is launched, there will be a short beta period where you will start receiving rewards in the form of points. These points will accrue in your available balance, and you will be introduced to different redemption options.
· What is the beta period, and what will happen to my account when it’s over?
o The beta period is the first step in the merging of Greenfield Online and Toluna USA. After the new program launches on January 5th, you will continue to have access to your Greenfield Online account* and all of the features you are accustomed to using through the end of January, when the full launch will take place. *If you are currently also a Toluna member, please see the next question below for new important information regarding your account.
o At the end of the beta period, the Greenfield Online site will close, and your Greenfield account will become a Toluna USA account. Your available balance will be automatically transferred over, and you will have access to your account information solely through the Toluna USA website. Here you will be introduced to exciting new features, such as quick polls and discussion topics, and you will discover new ways to connect with others and to express your unique opinions.
· What if I already have a Toluna account?
o If you are already a Toluna member, then upon the launch of our new program on January 5th, your two accounts will become one, and any remaining funds in your Greenfield Online account will be automatically converted to points and added to your existing Toluna balance. At this time, your Greenfield Online account will no longer be active, and you will only be able to access your account information by going to www.Toluna.com. If you try to login at the Greenfield Online site you will receive an error message that the login information you entered is not valid.
· How will my Greenfield and Toluna accounts be merged?
o Our Engineering and IT departments are working hard to locate any panelists that have an account with both Greenfield Online and Toluna. We will be looking at many factors including email addresses, and personally identifiable information listed in each account, and cross referencing systems to make sure that any duplicate accounts are merged together and that no information or accounts are lost during the transition. Once the accounts are merged, any remaining balance in your Greenfield Online account will be automatically combined with your Toluna balance, so no points will be lost.
· What will happen to my existing account balance?
o Up until the launch of the new program on January 5th, you can continue to login and request funds as you normally would. After the program launches any funds remaining in your account will be automatically converted to their equivalent in points. You will not have to take any action during the transition.
· What can I redeem my new points balance for?
o With our new points program, you will get to choose how to redeem your points, and that can be for cash, merchandise, sweepstakes entries, or to make a charitable donation.
· What methods of payment will be offered after the transition?
o Payment methods will remain the same after the transition. You will have the option to redeem your points for cash via check (US panelists only) or PayPal payment. We will also be offering additional options for point redemption, and will provide more information about these options in the near future.
· What will the payment times be after the transition?
o After the transition we will continue to follow the same payment model that you have become accustomed to. Check payments will still be processed on a bi-monthly basis, and will require approximately 4-6 weeks for delivery. PayPal will be processed on a weekly basis, but on occasion may take up to two weeks for the funds to be delivered to your account. If anything about this payment schedule changes we will update you as soon as possible.
